This album has had an unusual development. The things I was interesting in exploring in it shifted as it developed. I wanted to make some short works that exemplify what I consider a simplification of musical form.

I wanted audio that is layered, with each layer not in agreement with each other. I wanted to do away with time systems, tuning systems, and musical senses of progression. I wanted a cacophony of sound at all times. i think this album has been successful in stripping away musical aspects and seeing how far departed something can be and yet still be a musical experience. The entire album is made with physical, non electronic instruments that have been recorded and layered.
