Music for people

This album is a series of sound files that have been digitally glitched up and manipulated to generate music that is inbetween music for people and music for machines.

The principle ideal is the simplification of the sound files to be 8KBPS sound files. This causes the delicate and nuanced aspects of a sound file to be simplified and clunky-- often inappropriately. The original content and its messages to the listener is almost completely lost and has been replaced by a soundscape of sporadic digital noises, irregular intervals, and interference that shimmers on the ears. This new outcome is between the physical and the digital, between machine generated noise and human generated noise.

It is music for people and machines.
